Reflection
Completing this podcast went smoothly for the most part. I failed to realize that I could no longer edit the recording once I pressed save, which is why the date and the accreditation are not in the outro, but on this page instead (sorry!). It was nice to reflect on my time at the Telling Room more thoroughly than in the weekly audio journals. It gave me time to consider my biggest takeaways from this experience, and how it has helped me grow in my field. I felt as though my time at my internship gave me a unique and all-encompassing view of teaching, which I was happy to discuss and bring in clips from my audio journals to this podcast. Though I did not “interview” myself, I instead took an almost literary approach to this podcast where I utilized my journals as “quotes” to enhance the discussion and reflection. Each topic felt like a natural progression, and in some instances, it was nice to compare and contrast my thoughts from the beginning to the present day. Through this podcast, I have a cohesive idea of what I learned during my internship and how I will continue to apply the knowledge I gained from it going forward.
