The modern classroom is heavily influenced by technology as it becomes more widely accessible to students and teachers. Over the course of this semester, I compiled digital resources to be used in and outside of the classroom. In the form of a website, my Technology Toolkit relates to the technology standard through research to understand how these tools can enhance and enrich learners and teachers alike. Such a resource becomes a trove for digital learning and literacy. In the first half of the semester, many of these tools came from articles, mainly on EDUTopia, providing insights as to why each tool and different sorts of tools can be effective in the classroom and should be implemented in instruction and assessment. Many of the tools I discovered are inclusive of all learner types and serves to further engage and aid students in developing a deeper understanding of information. Some varieties of resources I found included writing help, rubric making, artistic or otherwise open-ended platforms, enhancement of typical lectures or presentations, gamified learning, databases, parent communication networks,  feedback platforms, and audio and visual aids, among others. Utilizing these kinds of digital hardware equips students with technical skills while forming positive experiences with electronics.

My Technology Toolkit is designed to be accessible and acts as a reference point for me to plan out engaging activities and further my digital abilities. Exposing oneself to numerous platforms creates a deeper understanding of how technology is designed and where those skills are used to understand other platforms. It makes one more versatile in their teaching and/or learning journeys. I plan to continue to refer to this database for inspiration and further its presence by accumulating more tools as they arise. This assignment advanced my consideration of digital tools in the classroom, as I have become more aware of how vast and full the internet is of resources for everyone. I believe that technology has been a fantastic improvement in the classroom with equity and inclusivity, as it actively supports all kinds of students. There are plenty of resources for Multilingual, ELL, Struggling, SPED, Gifted, and Talented students to thrive in the classroom. I look forward to incorporating such tools into my classroom, as it is a wonderful opportunity for collaboration, inclusion, and enhancement of learning from all angles.
